“That’s a really good question, why dont we wear clothes?” The soft shelled turtle in the purple mask asked. It was similar to his father’s, a blue mask and spiked horns the most distinctive feature. Leo face palmed, “Yes! I’m a mutant, aren’t I?” He said, gesturing to his outfit. The human girl, who was thankfully wearing clothes, looked from the DEAR MUTATIONS WHY ARE YOU NAKED?” He yelped in surprise. And inexperienced, if they were waiting for him to make the first move. “You better not mutate anyone!” Leo yelled after him, exasperated. “See that you keep them away from my business tonight.” And without another word, he dissapeared. “Why? When opportunities like this one offer such excellent training for you.” Draxum argued, amused. “I said it once and I will say it again,” murmured Leo, “you really have to splash out on better security.” Leo and Draxum bickered for a while when suddenly a group of 3 mutants and a human girl dropped from the ceiling. Leo didn’t have time to ponder any further because he saw some weirdly shaped mosquitoes contained in a jar. “Dad what did I say about mutating people?! I don’t want any brothers!” For reasons Leo didn’t understand draxum awkwardly side eyed his two gargoyle companions. A bunch of animals were on display, including a pizza delivery guy and what looked to be a weird looking dog? You really need to pump up security.” Leo brushed himself off and narrowed his eyes looking at the contraption behind his father. “Been spying on you for the past few months. “Right here!”ĭraxum jumped backwards frantically hiding the massive contraption behind him “ah! My son! How- how did you get here?” Leo dropped in front of his dad from seamingly nowhere. Leo heard his dad shout through the phone. And hey, if he was caught, he could pretend he was practicing for stealth missions. He was curious, unbearably curious as to what exactly was going on. And whenever he asked Draxum where he was off too, his dad shrugged the question off. The fact that Leo wasn’t being asked to help made him all the more suspicious. Leo didn’t usually have a problem with that last part, often helped out with any missions. But it certainly wasn’t his shifts at huesos, and knowing Draxum, it certainly wasn’t anything legal. Leon suspected that his father was up to something. How was it any different than his usual training? He supposed that dad loved him more than he hated humanity. Leo stopped training after that, he didn’t really know why. After that encounter Draxums whole life was put into perspective. Straight into a pack of lions wasn’t ideal. Leo went missing for 2 weeks after suffering injuries from a herd of lions which is where he teleported to. On his 10th birthday Leo was finally ready to teleport to other countries. Sounded like a pretty good deal- apart from the mass murder part, Leo wasn’t entirely sure how he felt about that.Īt 8 he was given his Katanas and by 9 he could make portals with ease. All Leo had ever known was that he was to become the warrior to destroy humanity, the saviour of all yokai.
